Default Booklet help

I have set up a document to be a folded booklet on letter size paper, landscape orientation. It looks fine on the screen, but when I print, using my printer's 2-sided option, It's printing 4 very small pages on one side as though it were a quarter fold document instead. I cannot figure out what option I need to change to make it print as a two page booklet.

Thanks for any help. I'm desperate.
Leslie

P.S It is set for landscape and in the print preview, it shows properly with two pages, but still prints on a quarter of the page in portrait orientation.

Unhappy

I am having the same issue. I found if the document itself is set up to be a booklet and then the printer settings are set to "booklet creation" (or something similar), it is telling your already booklet document to print as a booklet and it prints that way. I have no issues printing a booklet with a regular letter sized document and the print settings set to "booklet creation". It prints, folds and staples perfectly. The only problem is that all the context is shrunk and does not fill the whole booklet page . If you come across a solution please share. Thanks.

My Word printer menu is different depending on what printer is selected, so you may not see the same things I see. That said, on the Layout tab where I choose Booklet, there are choices for paper size and whether to print the cover on both sides. Also a box marked "Shrink to fit." I think that any one of these can mess up what gets printed, independently of the paper size chosen on the Media tab. I hope this helps.
