I never thought that WORD DELETES CLIPBOARD OMG. i cut my entire work of 2000 words aproximately and closed the word with the clipboard tihng i never knew what was that. later i opened up a new document and then the paste command doesnt work...




How can i recover the clipboard please!!!! there are no previous version neither backup. it was deleted when i closed the word document. Please help me it is an very important work for me.

Anything please! from hacking or whatever i just really want my cutted text back

When you exit an Office program with a large amount of data on the clipboard, You are asked whether you want to keep the clipboard contents. If you answer no, the clipboard is erased. Copying anything else to the clipboard will also clear the previous contents.

You might be able to recover something via File>Recover Unsaved Documents or by going to Windows Explorer, locating the file, right-clicking on it and choosing Properties>Previous Versions.

Do you have the Office Clipboard turned on? That is a clipboard that holds 24 entries across all office programs.

In Word, on the Home tab click on the dialog launcher button for the clipboard task pane (bottom right of the clipboard group on the left end of the ribbon).

Once the clipboard is gone, it is gone.

Not that it helps now, but next time, use Copy instead of Cut!
