Default Struggling to set A4 Jpg image as Word document background?

Hi

I've looked this up on Google and got some useful info about setting the background for our letterhead in Word.

I'm using the technique custom watermark but the image, which is 300pdi A4 size won't sit top left to the page border, the top of the image is cut off.

I've also tried 'Insert' image, advance layout, alignment left, alignment top and Lock Anchors, but this will not fit straight from the top left, cuts the top of the image off and wont 100% fill the screen.

I presume that with the insert image option there maybe problem with borders?

Please help I need this work so we can use this for our stationary.

So frustrating.

OK so I've got the water mark image to show full screen, washed out, which looks fine, however I've gone to print and the print preview show the water mark image cropped with a border around the image and the bottom section cut off?

Any idea thought I had it then.

Unless your image has the same aspect ratio as the page, you won't be able to scale it to fit the page without distorting it.

In any event, very few printers can do full-bleed prints, because of the reservation of an area around the edges for the paper handling mechanism. Consequently, images that do go to the page edge are liable to be cropped - which a Print Preview should normally indicate.
