trouble with formating between print view and outline view
Hello, I am having a devil of a time creating a document using an outline and having he formatting remain consistent. Please see the attached document. Items 8&9 are level 2, Items 10 and 11 are level 2. same level. items 8 & 9 decided to become left justified, while item 10&11 choose to be center justified. So when I view the document in regular view I have to manuall add spaces so the look is consistent. Why does word do this and how to I make it behave?

You need to set up a true multilevel (outline level) list so that levels and restarts work correctly. See http://shaunakelly.com/word/numberin...g20072010.html.
