Thumbs down Converting Roman to Aribic numerals using a list style

Hi-

I have a document with top level headers using Roman Capital numbering (I, II, III, IV....). I have established a List Style that passes all of the heading labels to the lower levels. The problem is that the document needs level 2 headings with Arabic numbering (1.1 then 1.2 then 1.3 etc.). My List Style makes them I.1, I.2, etc.

Does anyone know a way to pass the first level numbering down to the subsequent levels BUT convert the form to Arabic from Roman?

Thanks,

Sig

Default

Edit the numbering definition. Under "Click level to modify," click on Level 2.
Place a check mark in the box that says "Legal style numbering." Click OK.
