Default HELP!!! Recover the previous version of a file after saving it

Hello,

I worked on a document the whole afternoon. I first saved the document, then came back to it and continued working on it and for some stupid reason I made a mistake and didn't save the latest parts of my document.

I tried restoring from previous versions but it doesn't show, I also went to unsaved files and same thing, it didn't appear.

PLEASE PLEASE any suggestions?

I am using a Microsoft office 2013, oh and I am not a big IT expert.

Thanks for your help!!!
