printing as many 3x5's on a 8x11

Hi i'm trying to print as many 3x5's as will fit on a 8x11 to use as index cards.
I tried printing as labels (Avery 5283) but couldn't figure it out do i have make a csv file first?
Each card will be different.

If you're creating the labels from scratch (i.e. you don't already have the data prepared somewhere) you simply select the appropriate label type as the basis for a new document, then start typing into each label. If you do already have the data prepared somewhere, you may be able to use Word's mailmerge tools, for a label merge.
