Ok I figured it out..
It has to do with the line spacing which has been applied somehow in this document. If you open the file, select the table which contains the text and then the icon in the right hand side of the table, then go to the Home tab and click the Line and Paragraph Spacing button which is found in the Paragraph group. If you choose Line Spacing Options you will see that the Line Spacing is set to Exactly 14pt. Change the drop down to Single spacing and click OK. The speaker icon will now be displayed in full. Now you can use the Table Tools > Layout tab and use the Alignment buttons to adjust the alignment of the picture within the cell. Let me know if you get stuck or need further information. |
