Default Export the "List of Markup" into another Word Document

Dear all,

I know that in Word 2010, it is possible to print out the track changes by selecting "List of Markup" under File -> Print -> Setting.

However, I would like to export that "List of Markup" into another Word document.

Wondering is there any way to save as the "List of Markup" into a new Word document instead of printing it out?

Thanks a lot!

Word doesn't have this functionality built in. However, you could use a macro to create a revisions table with, say, two columns - one for additions, the other for deletions. Of course, there are other kinds of revisions, such as formatting changes, that you might want to add to the output.

For a macro to export details of the changes to Excel, see: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...f-8dc609cc75af

I think I am trying to ask a similar question. After all corrections, deletions, rescinding and changing......How do you see, save and look at the document without all the markups?

You can temporarily hide markup via Review tab | Show Markup. If you want to get rid of it permanently, you have to accept changes and turn off the tracking. See http://shaunakelly.com/word/sharing/...TrackedChanges.
