I have a form setup. custom. Very simple. I simply added a few basic text box form fields where I wanted them.
What I am trying to do is reference text box(1) into text box(2) and change the font to 3of9 barcode in text box (2). This way the user types the text into text box(1), can read it, and when I get the form it also has the barcode below it in another text box that I can use. How can I do this? And how do I make the REF field automatically update from the original when the user types data into the linked text box? |

By default, formfields have an internal bookmark name when inserted (e.g. 'Text1'), though you can change or delete the bookmark. To reference the field, therefore, all you need do is to insert a cross-reference to the bookmark. As for having the cross-reference automatically update, all that requires is for you to check the formfield's 'calculate on exit' property.
