Is there a simple way to convert the codes behind a field to plain text?
For example, I'd like to change "Page 1 of 3" to "Page { PAGE } of { NUMPAGES }". I know how to toggle the field codes (S+F9), but if I copy that string, it changes back to the field value. I can copy part of the field. For example, I can copy the part inside the brackets as long as I am careful not grab the brackets. I believe Graham Mayor has a macro that does it, but that's more trouble than its worth for what I need. Thanks |
