I googled a little for this but I'm exhausted from editing and reediting this text for Amazon kdp publishing.....whose uploading feature seems to work better with html than docx...
Link to dropbox folder with the docx file and images used. - These days, when I try to save the docx to html, a couple of things happen: 1. 1 or more copies of the images are added to the image_subfolder. 2. Some images are flattened/disappear with a height of 0. - Also, KDP requires html files to be in the same folder and zipped. Months ago, when I was first putting the book up, I moved the html file into the subfolder + opened it in Word Pad + changed the src= to look in the current default root folder. That worked then - but now with the multiple copies, the wrong images are displayed. - I want to convert the docx to html - have them in the same folder - and displayed as they are in the docx... So I can zip it and upload it... I was successful at it last Winter - after I went through with Word Pad and edited the src= and locating the flattened images and changing the height px manually. Now, I'm not able to solve the problems that way and I'm too tired of trying... Help would be greatly appreciated.... |
