I can't see the items on the file menu...
All the photos I see of Word 2013 have dark blue background with a white font. For some reason my font is black against a dark blue background and I can't see what's what.
A couple of weeks ago there was a major Office update. For a couple of days after that the file menu fonts were white and I thought the problem was solved. Now they're black again. Any help/ideas greatly appreciated. Cane |

At first I thought you must be referring to Word 2003, but no, you do mean Word 2013.
I know of no update to Office that did this, by itself. I think it must be an interaction with your Windows settings. I know of no way to change this within Office. It is possible that within Windows you changed the display font from default to black. (This is just a guess. Windows is a mystery to me. You may be able to get more information on a Windows forum, though.) |

Thanks, Charles. I'll do that. I've played with the Windows settings but it didn't get better and other things got worse. This is the only app I've got problems with.
