Can't remove mystery add-in
I discovered an add-in in my Word today. I can't remember when I may have added it, or for what reason, or why it would have inserted a number of "contribute" and other macros I can neither delete nor edit.
It took me a while to look for the source in the add-ins listing. I have tried replacing Normal.dotm but it keeps coming back. It's Number Labels Version 1.3. How can I get rid of this? Thanks. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 08-09-2014 at 07:25 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

See Add-Ins in Microsoft Word.
Add-Ins can be either Word Templates or .com Add-Ins. The way to get rid of them depends on the type and the installation location. I never heard of the one you mention. See also View, Manage, and Install Office Add-Ins |

Discovered
Much obliged, Charles. As it turns out, it was a ticket numbering add-in from Graham Mayor that I had needed for a little project some time back (Worked like a charm.) I had never had occasion to examine my macro list in the meantime.
All resolved. Thanks again. |
