I've looked through the forums and found a few cases that may be identical to mine, but none of them actually solved the problem for the original poster (even though many thought they did).
Here's the problem. In print layout, my header and footer are visible, formatted correctly, looks great. I need to change the text in both. When I double click on the header/footer, the contents disappear (and the spacing also decreases like it would if there were no content in the header/footer). As soon as I activate the body of the document again, the header/footer reappear. If I print the document, the header and footer print as well. Great! They actually do exist in the document...I still cannot edit them. First, I do not have the "white space" hidden as many users have given this as a solution. I can see my header/footer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
