Heading numbering skips numbers
My Table of Contents numbering skips from 2 to 5:
Table of Contents 1 Use Case 1 Activity Diagram.. 5 2 d2 Use Case Diagram.. 6 5.1 Paragraph Heading. 9 5.2 Revision Instance Table. 10 5.2.1 Package Diagram.. 11 5.3 d3 Use Case Diagram.. 14 6 d1 Use Case Block Structure. 15 I have confirmed that the report is correct. It is just the the heading numbering that is wrong. Does anyone have any ideas about what I should look for? P.S. I received a reply from a friend who said that this is not uncommon in Word. Is there a standard fix? Thanks Last edited by tpen3219; 07-21-2014 at 10:35 AM. Reason: formatting |

I found the problem. Though I do not understand exactly how the two items are connected.
I found that in one of the generated tables in the report there was a cell that numbered the cell entries. There were three numbered entries so the count jumped from 2 to 5. Example Table Actor Description 1 Use Case 4 2 Use Case 5 3 Use case 6 |
