I have a letterhead template I made with a different first page header/footer set up.
I have this one long document I am moving to the new template. A couple of times the first page header/footer has popped up in the middle of the document. The first time it was happening, if I cut/paste some text that contained a Heading1, the first page header/footer shows up, but if I cut/paste just the body text, and then type in the heading it works as expected. I have not been able to figure out how to fix the second case. I have split heading2/paragraph that I want to move entirely to the next page. When I add additional newlines, the first page header/footer pops up on the following page. I tried deleting the heading2 and just move the body text to the next page. Same problem. I tried adding a page break. Same problem. Is this a bug, or did I stumble into a "feature" some how? How do I get rid of the first page header/footer from the rest of the document? Thanks, Brad |
