Default Is there a way remove periods at the end of every bullet in a document?

Hello,

I have a document that is a couple hundred pages long, and the writer put periods at the end of every bullet:

What I want is this - periods removed at the end of every bullet (If the last character is a period, remove it):

Is there a way to remove periods at the end of every bullet (or specific styles) throughout the document that does not require a macro? I do not have the knowledge to program such a thing.

Could Find & Replace somehow be used?

Assuming your document is properly formatted with paragraph Styles, such that the bulleted paragraphs use different Styles than the non-bulleted ones, this can be done with a few Find/Replace operations, where:
Find = .^p
Replace = ^p
and you specify the relevant paragraph style as a Find parameter. If you use 'replace all', you might want to follow that up with a spell-check to ensure periods attached to abbreviations such as etc. get restored (I note there is one in your sample).

Ohoho, thanks Macropod. That works great. Yeah, I'll check for words like "etc" afterwards to put the periods back in, but this is a good timesaver.

EDIT: If anyone else is looking at Macropod's method, if you have any bullets that have a space after the period or a section break (instead of a paragraph end), those periods will not be picked up by the .^p find/replace. So, do a final manual Find check afterwards, to catch any stragglers.

You really shouldn't have spaces, tabs, etc. before a paragraph break or a section break. You can clear out those spaces & tabs with a wildcard Find/Replace, where:
Find = [^t ]@([^13^12])
Replace = \1
You should generally also have paragraph breaks before Section breaks. You can ensure that with a wildcard Find/Replace, where:
Find = ([!^13])([^12])
Replace = \1^p\2
