Without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue from such an ambiguous description. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

Hi,
I figured as much. So here's a SS. See where my cursor is on the right? That's the bullet. That's where it goes every time I click on it & I can't control what kind of bullet I get. I finally figured out a work around by using Shift Ctrl L, but that won't give me the arrow, only a circle, plus it doesn't teach me what I'm doing wrong. I don't think I did anything wrong, I think Word is just being Word & I want to strangle IT. It wasn't doing that last night until the very end of my day. I was so exhausted I gave up & then today forget it, I couldn't get it to work at all. Styles isn't easy for me. I've tried to follow instructions from sites that have them & it never works for me. It also won't let me unbold a line b/c then it unbolds the line above it too. Just nuts! Thanks for any help you can give me. Michelle |
