Default Creating macros in a new riboon

Please see the attached file. It contains a new ribbon with custom made macros. The macros basically change the formatting of text. One can select the any text and just click on the particular macro. The text will then be aligned and formatted accordingly.

How to create this? I searched a bit. I think I need to use XML programming for the same. Am I correct?

The file attached in my post has a completely new ribbon. That ribbon has buttons which are basically custom made macros. The name of the macros are such that their function is evident.
The normal process of recording macros, makes the button in the quick access toolbar. I want a separate ribbon to place all my macros, because, I want to create a large number of macros. So, it will better to group them in a separate ribbon.
So how should I go about it?

PS: My version of microsoft word is 2007.

Hi
Your document does not have a new ribbon. You may have created the document under a new template in which case you would need to post the Template so we can take look.
Hope this helps.
Tony

Customize the Ribbon (It doesn't take rocket science)

Modifying the QAT and Ribbon in Microsoft Word

The above pages explore modification of the Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar.

It is much easier to put macros in a template and attach them to QAT modifications that are only visible when using the template than it is to make ribbon modification that is set for one template only. Both can be done.

These can be either document templates or Global Templates.

Thank you for the reply Charles.

I referred the first link suggested by you. Its really helpful. At the end of it they have given a link for a book by Wiley. It deals with ribbon customisations from the basic. Thanks a ton again.
