Default Word2013 - Citation

Hi,

I want to use the citation editor which comes with Word 2013. According to APA standards, citation for sources comprising more than 2 authors have to be cited as the following:

Quote:
The first time you cite the source. Use the word "and" between the authors' names within the text and use the ampersand in the parentheses.

(Kernis, Cornell, Sun, Berry, & Harlow, 1993)

In subsequent citations, only use the first author's last name followed by "et al." in the signal phrase or in parentheses.

(Kernis et al., 1993)
However, Word does not apply this rule. Is there a way to make Word apply this rule automatically? This is basically one of the major reasons why I wanted to use the citation editor

Thanks in advance!
