Default Printing White Text in Blue Text Boxes

Hey all,

I am attempting to print a piece of documentation I have written using Word 2007.

The documentation entirely used Word basic template headings, titles, etc. including standard template textboxes. The textboxes chosen was "Braces Quote 2" which has, as standard, a blue background and white writing.

when I have come to print this document on standard white paper, I had imagined that the document would simply not print anything where the white text was (as I have seen a number of other programs do) to leave the write writing showing on the blue background of the text box.

However, when I do print, it instead prints the white writing as black. Is there any way of preventing it from doing this and instead making it print as I described above?

Thanks for your time,

Rich

Change the color of the text from "Automatic" to "White."

Hi Charles,

Thanks for the suggestion, but I had already tried to do this.

For now I have changed the background to a deep orange, which seems to have done the trick, but I would've preferred the blue

Any other ideas?

Rich

Nope. This very much depends on your printer and printer driver. Take it up with the manufacturer.
