Question How to change default settings in text box creation?

Hi all
First post here . I'm using Word 2010 x64 in Win 7 x64, & am a fairly competent user of it, as I've used Word for about 15 odd years now!!

I'm basically trying to find a way to change the default settings in text boxes. Mine always begin with the spacing before & after set to 10 & Line Spacing at Multiple, where ideally I want the former set at 0 & the latter to Single.

Is there a method I can use to fix this?

Thanks

BK
