Default Paste a screenshot into Word and get two different forms

Hi All,

As you can see in the attached image, if I make a screenshot and paste it into Word, depending on my luck, I may get two different results, i.e., when I right click on the screenshots, the edge (and the context menu) may come different. Could you please tell me why? How can I change the first form into the second form?

Thanks.

Even looking at your screenshots, I'm still not sure of your question. You have apparently are showing screenshots of Word with screenshots being pasted.

I am seeing two slightly different images (size) and two different menus. Are the menus in Word or in the original screenshot? I am assuming they are in Word.

Is this one screenshot pasted two different times, or two screenshots of the same thing pasted separately?

How did you paste the screenshots? How did you acquire the screenshots? What did you do to paste the screenshots? Any intervening actions?

I used Windows 7's snipping tool to get the screenshot. If after I make the screenshot, I paste it directly into Word, then I get the first form in the image I attached in my last post. But if after I make the screenshot, I copy the shot and paste it to the Paint tool in Windows 7, copy what I get in the Paint and paste it into a table cell in Word, then I get the second form shown in the image I attached in my last post.

The context menu is in Word.

The key difference between the two forms is the frame that appears when you click on the screenshots. As you can see, with the first screenshot, there's a green circle above it, which enables me to rotate the screenshot to any angle, like what is shown in the image below.

OK.

When I paste an image into a table, I do not have a rotation handle. If I click on the image, a rotation handle appears.

This is true whether it is a screenshot, a smartshape, or an image from a camera.

Is there anyone who can tell me how I can paste a screenshot directly into Word and get the second form as shown in my first image attached here? I don't like the one with a green rotation handle above it. Thanks.

If you click outside of the image, you will not have the handles including the rotation handle. This is a tool for manipulating the image, not a part of the document.
