floating month prompt
In Word, when one types the first four letters of a month, a floating prompt appears -- for instance, typing sept produces "september" above the line and one presses Enter to put September into the document. I have somehow turned this feature off in my program and cannot figure out how to turn it back on, and since I haven't been able to figure out what it's called I can't find a specific help.
I'm using Word 2010. Help! carol |

Hi Carol
You have turned off the "Show AutoComplete suggestions". To turn it back on: Click on FILE followed by OPTIONS followed by ADVANCED and the put a tick in the box called "Show AutoComplete suggestions". Good luck. Tony |

floating month prompt
Thanks, Tony. Unfortunately, when I looked, "Show AutoComplete suggestions" was still checked. I unchecked it and checked it again, but the prompt still does not show.
But thanks for letting me know where the function is! carol |
