Combining Word Documents with Comments
The word files I work with are sent out to individuals for comments. We restrict editing so they are only able to use the comment feature. Once I receive them all (can be upwards of 30 files), I combine them, one at a time into a master file. The problem I keep running into is either some of the comments don't copy over to the master file or if a more than one person makes a comment on the same text, one overrides the other. Is there a way to make sure all comments merge over? This is very frustrating as I end up going back and doing a compare with each individual file to make sure the comments have copied over.
