Default Word 2010

I have created my own styles but apparently I have screwed something up.

When I click on a style and then try to add a bullet to it, the font size changes and so does the left indentation.

Sorry if this is simple and obvious. This is my first attempt at customizing the app. Any help is appreciated - I have searched the forums and google with no luck.

See http://shaunakelly.com/word/bullets/controlbullets.html. This should help you tremendously. If this does not help, you can also google the topic to get some online tutorials via You Tube.
