Importing Excel
Hi chaps, I was visiting a client today and they were manually removing returns from every line in a list in 'Word', hundreds of lines, very boring, I asked what the problem was and they explained that they have the data sent to them as an excel doc and, somehow, open it in 'Word' in order to print their catalogue. They don't seem to be able to get rid of what appear to be 3 'returns' in between each line (except by arrowing down the doc. and deleting them) ...I'm a Mac man and couldn't help but thought I'd ask here ... anyone any ideas please ?

That should be just a simple Find/Replace operation. For example:
Find = ^p^p Replace = ^p will reduced any paired paragraph breaks to single paragraph breaks. Running it twice will reduce tripled paragraph breaks to single paragraph breaks, as will a single use of: Find = ^p^p^p Replace = ^p
