Opening 2014 documents
Can anyone tell me how to open "2014" documents? |

I don't think Microsoft has a 2014 version so I'm not sure what you're asking.

Thanks for responding.
The document I was trying to open has the extension: "2014". It is not a Word document but some "odd" format and I could not find any way of opening it. |

Without knowing what file format is being used, it's impossible to advise what program to use. '2014' is not a recognised extension for any software I'm aware of.

Your reluctance could be justified. Unless you know that this file is significant, ignore it, and do not download anything from SysTweak.

Without actually seeing one of these documents, it can be difficult for anyone to provide specific advice. Can you attach a (preferably small) representative document to a post? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen. You may need to add the file to a zip archive first.

I think I've managed to attach the file. Thanks for your interest.

Your attachment is an ordinary Word document. Simply change the '2014' to 'doc' and you'll be able to open the file with MS Word.
