Default header looks bad when exporting to pdf

I made a header on a page with a table of contents. I have the word "Page" all of the way to the right on this header above the page numbers. However, when I export to a pdf the "Page" word is not all the way to the right. Instead, it appears a little bit to the left far enough that it bothers me. How can I get it to look the same way in the pdf as it did when it was in Word?

It depends on how your items are being positioned. If you could post a sample document with the problem I would take a look at it.

Here's the pdf version with the problem. You can see the problem on page 7.

Here is your document with a modified header.

The problem probably has nothing to do with pdf conversion. It looked bad in my Word, too.

Your header has your page number centered in your page with a bunch of leading dots or spaces. The one attached removed the center tab setting. Your right tab is outside the right indent, which is OK.

Sorry, too big to upload. I will attach a smaller sample with your header and mine.

Here is a document with the two headers. Yours and mine. You need to view these with the non-printing formatting marks displayed. Showing non-printing formatting marks in Microsoft Word

Thanks a lot! I deleted the spaces and used tabs to put the "Page" word on the right so that my document looks like yours, and it looks great!
