I have a Word document that was created in Office X but when its viewed as an attachment to an email in Word 2007, it looses its formatting.
I've tried saving it in 2007 formatting from Word 2010 and I get the same result. Any ideas on how I can keep the formatting when opened in Office 2007? I appreciate your help. |

Turn off the option to open e-mail attachments in Reading Layout view/Full Screen Reading/Reading view (different names in different versions). The exact location of the option is different in different versions of Word. In Word 2010, you'll find it at File tab | Options | General.
