Default Grouping objects, drawn pictures, and text together

Hello,

My wife is making a document that requires many tables to be made with hand drawn (via a bamboo tablet) added to them. There is also text typed in the image. We have been struggling to figure out a method of how to group the whole picture into an object that will move together.

Various methods tried via online help have proven to be only partially successful. There must be some way to do this Im sure.

She has been doing it in paint, saving it, and then inserting it into the word document, but then it is not editable without going back through the whole process again. There must be a way to do this all in word,no?

I have attached a jpg image of one of the chart/images that she is currently working with so you have a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Anyone have advice?

Thank you kindly

uwn

See attached. The whole lot can be done in Word, using a table in a textbox, with the brace autoshapes plus a couple of small textboxes for the sizes. All textboxes are borderless. The whole lot is then grouped so they can be moved as a set.

Hi, Paul. This could be useful for something I have to do as well. Question: where is the paragraph that must follow the table? I put a small table in a text box but the succeeding paragraph takes up space.

Thanks.

The paragraph following the table is in the textbox - the textbox has been resized so only the table is visible.
