Default E-signature issues (Word 2010) when converting to pdf

When I insert an electronic signature in a Word document and convert to a pdf you can not access the signature. However, when another person in the office does the same task, I can access/select the signature in the pdf. Is there a setting in Word that could be different? I can't locate one or identify why he has this issue. Please help.
