Default Design tab in word not right

can anybody tell me how i can get the templates OFF THE TAB please, i need to see the other commands in that tab. its JUST no looking right
its taking up the whole tab wtf
i attach a screenshot

Those are not templates; they're Style definitions. They should only occupy enough space to leave room for whatever else appears on the Design tab. You can remove them, though, via File|Options|Customize Ribbon.

What you see is the new design of the style set gallery. You can certainly remove things from the ribbon, using the built-in editor, but you can't remove just the styles gallery. :-(
