How to stop Show Markup Up Formatting and Insertions&Deletions which were already done?
I managed to delete the comments; I tried to delete one by one Formatting, Insertions&Deletions notes, but sometimes works, sometimes it reverses my editing. I can uncheck say Insertions and Deletions, but what I want is so that they won't appear again at all even if it is checked. |

On the Review tab, click Accept | Accept All Changes. Then turn off the tracking by pressing Ctrl+Shift+E (or by clicking the Track Changes button on the Review tab).

Is there no way to permanently turn tracking off? This feature is a pain.

If I understand you correctly. I must do this repeatedly every time I open a document. I NEVER want tracking.

No, you shouldn't have to do this all the time. The setting is document-specific.
Since it happens with all documents, your Normal template has tracking enabled. Open the template as a document, accept changes and turn off the tracking. Save and close the template. To open Normal as a template, you can do the following: From within Word, press Alt+F11 to display the Visual Basic Editor. Press Ctrl+G to activate the Immediate window. Type NormalTemplate.OpenAsDocument and press Enter. The template opens in a separate window, which you can tell by looking at the filename on the title bar. Close the Visual Basic Editor. Modify, save and close Normal as mentioned above.

This is a bit over my head, but I will work on it this weekend. Thank you well much. I have lived in WordPerfect for years and the transition is difficult.
