Default Word attachment with Lotus Notes

I am having a hard time figuring out why this is happening. When I am in Word 2003 and try to use the File-Send to-Mail Recipient (As Attachment) in Lotus Notes 7 it changes the file name to ~WRD####.rtf.

The #### is a number that changes with each email.

How do I keep this from changing the file name?

The tilde at the beginning of the file name indicates that your dealing a temporary file. {Link to more info}
