Default Jump without the mouse, arrows or tab?

Hi!

I wonder if anyone could help me with my "problem". I use a pre-written word-document at work everyday. The text has a few "blanks" where I enter the new relevant words needed. Now, I move to the blanks by using the mouse och the arrows. Is there a quicker way? Is it possible to mark the blanks in advance and then just jump to the next place without the mouse or arrows? I can't "tab" my way ahead since I then move all the pre-written text.

Maybe a stupid question...

You could insert plain text content controls wherever you want to insert your variable text. When the insertion point is one, pressing Tab will take you to the next content control. Content controls are found amongst the Controls group on the Developer tab

You could also:
  1. insert MacroButton Field Prompts and use the F11 key to go to the next field, or
  2. use online form text fields and protect the document for forms.
If your form will be used by anyone using versions of Word before Word 2007, you cannot use content controls. Do not use content controls in documents protected for forms.
