Picture as watermark
I use Word 2003 and I have a problem I hope any of you can help with.
When I use a watermark (default layout or picture) as a background for my document, the background is fine on screen but it doesn't stick when I print the document. What do I not do or do wrong? Is it possible to print the background or is it meant for show only? I appreciate any feedbacks. |

Go to Tools|Options|Print and make sure you have the 'Drawing Objects' option checked.

I believe there is a distinction in Word between a background (which only displays online) and a Watermark. A Watermark prints on every page.

Yes, but web backgrounds only show up in web layout and reading layout views, not in normal or print layout view. Plus, web backgrounds tend to be tiled all over the screen.
