Hi Everyone,
I'm sure this is an easy fix but I have not been able to sort it out. I have a table of contents created using styles - I have done this many times. For this particular one, it shows the text associated with the style but instead of just listing the page number "......14" it shows the heading as well ".....11-14" I only need it to show the page number. I have changed the TOC formats, re-checked the styles and even tried a Manual TOC and assigning the headings. I have compared it side by side with another document that is formatted the way I want. I have compared field codes and can't see any discrepancy. I am sure it's a simple as un-checking a box but I can't find it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, FormatAdmin |

Click in the section where you see the "11-14" format for page numbers and then click Insert tab | Page Number | Format Page Number. Clear the "Include chapter number" option. Update the table of contents.
