Default Change the background?

I copy and pasted this layout I saw from a website (link to website) because I liked how it highlights a code text:

The text after I pasted it into word

My questions are:

1)

How do I change the background color of it?

2)
Are there any templates of how to highlight code text on Word?
or can you recommend me any styles to highlight codes?

Word has two background-colouring options: highlighting; and shading.

The text highlighter tool is on the Font panel on the Ribbon's Home tab.

The shading tool can be accessed via the Borders and Shading button on the Paragraph panel on the Ribbon's Home tab. Shading can be applied at the text and/or paragraph level. Your web page also has top/bottom Borders, whose colouring can also be set via the same process.

Also, shading (but not highlighting) can be applied as a part of a style definition.
