Default Saving a 2003 Document to 2007 one.

Hello
Once a MS Word 2003 document is open in MS Word 2007 and want to save it as a 2007 document, below message appears:
"... but may cause changes in the layout of the document."

What does it mean and what happens for my document which is saved in 2007? Which properties of the document (which was 2003) will not saved as 2007?
