align & justify the whole document
Dear All,
I am new in this forum. Need help. I have a document which is describe as below with attachment. What I want is to move part of the second paragraph into first paragraph instead of backspace every paragraph. I have few hundred of paragraph to do and this consume time. sample as below: before International sales transactions between sellers and buyers require an agreement as to the form of payment for the goods. after (want it like this) International sales transactions between sellers and buyers require an agreement as to the form of payment for the goods. any faster way ??? |

Use the Find and Replace command:
Find: ^l Replace: The code for a manual line break is ^l Replace it with a space Regards HJJ |

You can do it with the replace operation Edit -> Replace. The special character you need to remove is manual line break, but some line breaks should be retained. Fortunately, they appear in different rules, the line breaks to be retained are always two together, but the line breaks to be removed is only one.
So your file can be processed with three replace operations: Step 1. Replace the double line breaks with a temporary unique character such as '@@'. Step 2. Remove all line breaks - replace them with nothing. Step 3. Replace '@@' with double breaks. I have attached the processed file. |

Hi HJJ and Matrix,
Thanks for the tips. The file that Matrix attached is align perfect with the header. How to do that ? Manual align ??? How to get the double break in the Find Command ? Sorry for the stupid Q as I new in microsoft word. Thanks again. |
