Default I can't delete my page numbers


Hi all.

I use word 2013.

When i try to "remove page numbers" from the insert tab, page number, and "remove page numbers", nothing happens and the page numbers are still there.

Double-click the header area to activate header/footer view. Then select and delete the page number field in the header or footer (wherever the number resides).
