I am writing a novel using Word 2013 and Windows 7 Pro. Sometimes when I am writing and I feel that I might have duplicated some phrase or sentence, I like to scroll back to check on it. When I scroll up or down past a certain point word will jump back to the screen where the cursor is located. This is very annoying to an author, can anyone tell me how to fix this.
Very appreciative for a solution JP910 Retired ![]() |

Try clearing the "Use smart cursoring" option at File tab | Options | Advanced.

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for replying to my post. I found out it is not a Word issue. I'm using Dragon Natural Speaking 12 with Word. It's an issue with Dragon. I'll let you know what I find out to fix the issue. JP |
