Is there a way to have a page break inserted when a certain word is detected on a page? I have a report with many pages of different sizes but each new page begins with a title beginning with the word OFFICIAL.
Is there a macro or something to have word create a page break when it finds this word? Mike ![]() |

You can use Find and Replace. Press Ctrl+H to display the dialog box.
"Find what": OFFICIAL "Replace with": ^m^& Click the Replace All button.

Using a heading style would be even easier, of course, assuming that it would be appropriate for the document.

One more thing on this that I notice. I added the find and replace sequence to the macro to add the page break but I get a blank page between every page. Is there a way to remove the blank pages?

Display nonprinting marks, for example by clicking the ¶ button on the Home tab, and see if there are multiple page breaks in the document.
