Default Comments note won´t go away!!!

Hello all hope you have an idea for the following problem:

I received a text return with comments, and the person doing the commenting had used small yellow note markers in the test.

the problem is simple: i cant erase the markers ( see picture )

any ideas?

Cheers Thorup

What file format is this? They look like PDF comment tags, which you can simply select, then delete via the Delete key.

With the file being a .jpeg, it is essentially a "picture" and you cannot edit a picture (nor, erase the yellow markers).

For objects with 'behind text' wrapping, a permanent solution is to add the 'Select Drawing Objects' icon to the Quick Access Toolbar, then click on that. Doing so allows you to select 'behind text' objects.

A workaround is to temporarily insert a bunch of empty paragraph breaks where the object is so there is no text in front of it; it can then be selected.
