Hyphenation zone setting is greyed out in word 2013. All the other options are available. What am I doing wrong?

The Hyphenation zone setting isn't supported in *.docx files created in Word 2013, because the hyphenation feature has changed. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2740483/en-us (Changes in content layout between Word 2013 and earlier versions of Word).
If you want to specify a hyphenation zone, you will have to save the document in an older file format.

Thank you much for your help. It never dawned on me that it might have been depreciated.
