Word 07 won't create clickable links sometimes
If I am copying and pasting a couple of paragraphs from a web page and there are clickable links in the page, they will be clickable in the Word docx.
But if I just copy from the address bar and paste it into the Word 07 docx, they will not be clickable, even if I hit space or enter after the link. The link just shows up as black text. I believe this started happening when I upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1. Is there anything I can do to get them back? The only setting I could find in Word was "Use CTRL+click to follow hyperlink" and that is checked. Is there another setting somewhere that I missed, and somehow it got changed? Edit: I found another one. "Update automatic links at open" and it is also checked. sincerely, baffled |

Go to Options>Proofing>AutoCorrect Options>Autoformat (IIRC that's where it is in Word 2007) and make sure the 'Internet and network paths with hyperlinks' option is checked.

Check the same setting on the Options>Proofing>AutoCorrect Options>Autoformat As You Type panel also.
