Errors in justification on re-opening document
Using Word 2007 under Win 7. AMD Athlon processor. I have tables containing text and images center justified. When I copy/paste these tables to a new document, the paste is correctly made, but when the new doc is saved, closed and re-opened, the text and images in tables are wrongly left justified. Default is set to copy formatting from source document. When closing and re-opening the original document, all is well. It is only the new document that has problems. I can re-align the contents to center, but as soon as I close/open again, it is again corrupted. Help please. Last edited by Tiger; 01-03-2014 at 11:12 PM. Reason: Update configuration details. |

Make sure the problem document is the active document. First display the Developer tab, via Office button | Word Options | Popular. Then click the Document Template button on the Developer tab. In the dialog box, clear the "Automatically update document styles" option and click OK. Now you should be able to correct the alignment for text.
