Question ListCommands missing some custom keyboard shortcuts

Is this a known issue? ListCommands fails to account for some custom keyboard shortcuts. I know for sure I've defined them, since I use them everyday. Yet they do not show up in the table created with ListCommands.

How, exactly, are you getting the list?

File > Print > Print what: Key Assignments?

Tools > Macro > Macros > Macros In: Word Commands > ListCommands > Current menu... ?

This ==> Tools > Macro > Macros > Macros In: Word Commands > ListCommands > Current menu...

I didn't even know there was Print what: Key Assignments. Some of my customized shortcuts still don't show up in the Print What either.

Here is a catch though that I forgot to mention in th OP: these shortcut keys are assigned to macros residing in another .DOT file. I assigned shortcut keys to them by going into the Customization dialogue box > Keyboard > Macros. Is this why these keyboard shortcuts are not appearing in either ListCommands or PrintWhat?

Where are the keyboard assignments stored? In the template that has the macros? Is it loaded as a Global Template?

I just checked and key assignments in global templates do not show up using either method. Doesn't work in Word 2010, either.

These will show assignments in either the open document or its attached template.

The keyboard assignment does show up in the Assign Keyboard shortcut dialog, though, if I try to assign something else to that key combination.

(1) Yes.
(2) My experience identical.

I guess Word was designed to work that way. Time to ask the experts for a macro to get around this. :-)
